I decided on a "Random in NYC" theme this week, after stumbling upon photos that reminded me of the random, surprising, funny and strange things you see just walking around New York.

I can't tell where in the city this house was, given that it's grouped with some photos of Ellis Island. The photos were probably misdated upon importing to a new computer. My best guess is this is somewhere around Park Avenue in the mid-50s or 60, but it could be on Madison or Fifth or any other Avenue, for that matter.
If not for the cheery paint job and flowers, this would be a perfect haunted house.
